Three monologues by Hannah Moscovitch. The big draw is Hugh Jackman in monologue #3. He was good even if the monologue was overlong, the surprise was #2, Marianna Gailus in a moving story of femininity on the American frontier. #1 started slow but became interesting. Nice evening at the theater that didn't cost an arm and a leg.

In this play, a tree surgeon falls deeply in love. Elsewhere, a young woman searches for her lost friend out on the prairie. And a new mother's life is turned upside down when she meets a celebrity and begins an unlikely friendship. Such are the three stories at the heart of this spellbinding play that is its own excavation of what it means to share a story — and how those stories connect us to others.
Ian Rickson, who was the Artistic Director of the Royal Court from 1998 to 2006, directs this riveting new play from Ella Hickson, who is a member of the Royal Society of Literature and a 2025 Radcliffe Fellow at Harvard University.
With stars Marianna Gailus, Hugh Jackman, and Sepideh Moafi taking the stage, audiences can expect an intimate and memorable night at the theatre as these sterling actors share moving tales from their characters' intricate, and interconnected, lives.
